Bibury - Cotsworlds (1)

2008-04

The Cotsworlds represent an area that is forever England remaining seemlingly unchanged with the passing of time.

The little cottages in the small village are made of specially white lime stones.

Besides the stone cottages, Bibury also has a trout farm.

And, a bunch of well-fed ducks. Glen, on the left, is our tour guide.

We had lunch at Swan Hotel overlooking the River Coln.

"Cots" in Cotsworld actually means "sheep". So, no wonder, a bunch sheep farms were frequently spotted. The trouts for lunch could not get any fresher, since they are from the trout farm cross the street from the restaurant.
